Memorial Day Ceremonies are held on Monday following the traditional Memorial Day Weekend. The fallen of Oklahoma are honored in special ceremonies.
5K/Half Marathon Run in honor of the Fallen of Oklahoma during the War on Terrorism. This run is held the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend yearly. Runners receive dog tags bearing the names of the armed forces.
The Ride to Remember is held annually on the first Saturday of November. This 100 mile ride, open to both motorcycles and cars, remembers the fallen of Oklahoma from the Vietnam era. This years ride is sponsored by Abate.
Every Father’s Day, roses are placed at our Vietnam War Memorial. This service is to honor those who never had a chance to come home and start a family, and to those who later died as a result of their service in Vietnam.
